How we can help

Psychiatric care, built around you

01

Psychiatric Evaluation

A full assessment of about 60 minutes, in person in Raleigh or by secure video. Your history in your own words, and a plan agreed with you before you leave.

  • A comprehensive evaluation of about 60 minutes, unhurried
  • Your current symptoms, how long they have been going on, and how they affect your daily life
  • Mental health and medical history, previous treatments and medications, and family history

02

Medication Management

Careful prescribing and follow-up close enough to catch what is not working. Your medication should fit you, at the lowest effective dose.

  • Prescribing with a clear explanation of what each medication does, how long it takes, and what to watch for
  • Electronic prescriptions sent to the pharmacy you choose
  • Refills managed between follow-up visits

03

Psychotherapy

Talk therapy on its own or alongside medication, with the same provider who manages your prescriptions. Nothing gets lost between two people who never speak to each other.

  • Individual psychotherapy, in person in Raleigh or by secure video
  • Therapy alone, or combined with medication management in the same plan
  • An approach matched to what you are working on rather than a single fixed method

Before it ends, you and your provider agree a plan together.

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Ifeoma Alaribe evaluates, prescribes and manages psychiatric medication. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose, and refills are handled between follow-up visits.
